When Wayne and Bev Littlehorn decide that the only way to sort out their marital problems is to take a vacation, Cory, their pampered city boy is sent to stay in By the Rapids, a small Mohawk community. Left with his quirky grandma, his quirkier cousin, and a whole lot of free time, Cory has no choice but to learn to adapt to a life without the conveniences of the city. Will a week in By the Rapids prove his undoing or is a stay in the sticks just what Cory needs to break out of his teenage rut?
