Press Release April 5, 2007 AIFI'S MAGAZINE RETURNS San Francisco, CA- The American Indian Film Institute (AIFI) is proud to announce the launch of Indian Cinema Entertainment Destination, the second chapter to the award-winning magazine Indian Cinema Entertainment (published 1993-2000). Awarded 1st place by Native American Journalism Association for General Excellence 1995, 1996 and 1999, ICED takes a new direction by presenting the tourism "destinations" offered by American Indian and First Nation tribal entities and enterprise. The first issue of the full-colored glossy 16-page launch of ICED magazine is slated for May 2007, with the second issue slated for October 2007. ICED will continue the tradition of what loyal readers loved about ICE magazine, by aiming to bring exclusive stories of filmmakers, actors and performing artists in Indian Cinema and entertainment today, as well as exploring American Indian and First Nation tribal destinations, including gaming, golf, eco-tourism, world-class conference/hotel facilities, restaurants, and top-ring entertainment.
