Kindest Regards by Del Curfman

Del Curfman

Best known for his work with Apsaalooke’ (Crow Nation of Montana) imagery and cultural meaning, Del Curfman explores heritage, tradition, and humanity through painting. His work often incorporates techniques and styles of impressionism. A graduate of the Institute of American Indian Arts of Santa Fe, NM (IAIA) with B.F.A in Studio Arts emerging artist and enrolled tribal member, Curfman looks to contribute to contemporary Native Artist history through his work in oil paints and community based projects.

For the 2nd year in a row, AIFI has commissioned artist Del Curfman to create an original painting that reflects who we are as an organization. This years artwork, titled “Kindest Regards”, is dedicated to the memory of our late festival founder/director, Michael Smith.

Artist Del Curfman will available throughout the festival for personal poster signings. Kindest Regards will be available for purchase beginning November 7 at the Brava Theater.
